Intellectual Property

As a result of its significant investment in Research and Development (R&D), Ceravision has created and developed a range of disruptive technologies within the fields of plasma lighting and High Efficiency Plasma (HEP) lighting. To supplement this range of technologies and in keeping with Ceravision's philosophy of providing complete solutions, it has also designed, manufactured and fully protected its own luminaires, control circuitry and light engines.

These technologies are underpinned by a comprehensive portfolio of intellectual property rights (IPRs) including patents, patent applications, trademarks, registered designs, knowhow and copyrights. This portfolio includes in excess of 350 patents and patent applications filed worldwide.  Currently, over 125 patents have been granted in 89 jurisdictions including Europe, USA, China and Japan.

Due to its strong commitment to R&D, Ceravision continues to expand its IPRs as part of its technology and product development programmes.

Ceravision has successfully followed a strict policy of vigorously protecting and enforcing its IPRs worldwide and will continue to do so as part of the company’s overall business objectives.
