BLETCHLEY Park has announced its first scientific breakthrough since World War Two.
The Science and Innovation Centre will be officially opened by Lord Sainsbury, the Minister of Science and Innovation on Friday.
The first company to be located in the centre is Ceravision Ltd, which designs and produces a novel plasma lamp.
This technology has been developed on-site over the last twelve months under a shroud of secrecy.
The centre has been created through a joint venture between Bletchley Park Trust, and the local technology and finance group Milton Keynes Capital Partners (MKCP).

Peter Crook, Executive Director MKCP, said: "Some 42,000 sq ft of former wartime accommodation is being refurbished to create offices and manufacturing workshops for a new generation of high-tech companies at Bletchley Park."
Bletchley Park Director Christine Large said: "This is the most exciting development at Bletchley Park for more than a decade.
"The Trust's mission is to build on the WW2 codebreakers' legacy, drawing inspiration from the history.
"This centre will form the nucleus of a thriving community of entrepreneurial and innovative businesses, generating up to 300 new job opportunities in the Park."
