Ceravision Limited is a private UK-based company leading the world in the development of compact, high-efficiency, microwave powered, electrodeless lamps. Using this disruptive technology platform, Ceravision is a pioneer in the use of electrodeless lighting solutions for multiple applications at varying power levels. The Ceravision technology platform, the Continuum 2.4GHz, can be configured to deliver white light at various colour temperatures, or to deliver UV or IR radiation only.

Applications for white light variants include electronic projection, fibre optic lighting, studio lighting and energy efficient, mercury-free general lighting. UV radiation applications include colour graphic ink curing, water and air sterilisation. The Company holds a wide range of fundamental patents covering all components used in the compact microwave powered electrodeless lighting system.

Mission
The Ceravision mission is to deliver to world leading partners a range of lighting system designs that offer unprecedented efficiency, superior colour, small form factor and long life spans.

History
Ceravision's ceramic expertise led to the birth of the compact microwave powered electrodeless lamp system in 1999. Today, the Company owns the intellectual property for all key elements of its technology platform. As a result of this wide-ranging portfolio of intellectual property, Ceravision is now leading the global lighting industry in the development and delivery of high efficiency, mercury-free, microwave powered electrodeless lighting systems.

Products
Ceravision's technology platform has created three distinct families of intellectual property and product families: White light products, UV products and high-power products. The technology platform comprises a comprehensive range of components that can be configured to individual requirements. This flexibility allows the Company to deliver a wide range of systems solutions specifically designed for applications such as projection, fibre optic, studio lighting and ultra-violet applications.

Ceravision will consider licensing elements of its technology platform to customers wishing to manufacture their own products. For customers wishing to simply purchase complete products, Ceravision has manufacturing partnerships in place to meet their global requirements.

To satisfy an increasing global demand for high-efficiency, mercury-free lighting with excellent colour reproduction to replace incandescent bulbs for domestic use within the home, Ceravision is currently developing its unique Ecolumination™ range.

Ecolumination™ products will deliver unprecedented improvements in electrical efficiency, quality of light output, and extended operating life to the domestic lighting market the lamp and luminaire systems will not use any mercury, and will compete favourably in quality and price with incumbent and alternative emerging lighting technologies.

Headquarters
Ceravision is headquartered in historic Bletchley Park, UK, the home of World War II code-breaking and the birthplace of the modern computer.
